Please read these policies prior to making a reservation. They contain very important information regarding payment and cancellations!

  • Cancellations/Refunds: If cancellation occurs LESS than 3 days or 72 hours (7 days for holidays and/or special events) prior to the day of arrival, the cancellation fee equals 100% of the rate and therefore, NO refund will be issued. There are no exceptions to this policy. Reservations canceled LESS than 3 days (72 hours) or 7 days (Holidays/Special events) before the scheduled date of arrival will be charged 100% of room charge and are NON-REFUNDABLE. “No-Show” guests and “Early Departures” are considered cancellations within the non-refundable period.
  • Deposit: No Security Deposit. We reserve the right to hold guests liable for any damages caused in, on or around premises during their stay, including but not limited to bedding, mattresses, furniture, etc. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if the cottage needs excessive cleaning after check-out.
  • Check-In/Out: Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check out is 11 a.m.
  • Late Arrival: You MUST notify us if you will arrive later than 8:00 p.m. No arrivals after 9:00 p.m. We close at 9:00pm.
  • Children are welcome. Children under 5 are free. We ask our guests to please monitor their children so that a pleasant environment is maintained for all.
  • Cleaning: House cleaning as needed.
  • Pets: We do not accept any animals or pets.
  • Both guest suites are NON-SMOKING and NON-PET. A $450.00 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card of guests who smoke, bring in pets, or allow pets or smoking in our guest suites!
  • Tax: Ferndale charges a transient occupancy tax of 12%, which is not included in the published rates.
  • Lost Keys: There is a $35 fee for lost keys.
  • No food is served.
  • Extra person charge: $50.00 per person per day.
